Welcome to the inaugural post for The Focussed Manager. I am quite excited to launch this site. For a long while, I was looking for a medium to share some of what I have learned from TOC (Theory of Constraints), DevOps and Agile and to also share some of my opinions. The motivation for pulling this site together is a common phrase I think we all use from time to time, ‘If only I had known this then…’

This site is dedicated to the things I wished I knew when I went into Management in I.T. Whilst it was those experiences that shaped who I am today, I still would have appreciated the assist. I hope you find many of the Aha’s that I did in learning the stuff I have put up here…
